I haven't experienced those issues outlined in the attachment. I have, however, had my fair share of issues. I have QB Pro 2013 installed at the moment.
Right now, every once in a while we'll get an error when a user opens a company file. The accountants are trained to simply close out the window and open it again. It always works the second time when this happens (error does not come up every time). I haven't been able to resolve it but I'm thinking it has to do with downloading a 800mb file over the network time and time again.
When you upgraded Quickbooks, did you give the new QB data user full access to the shared folder that hosts the databases?
I did. Both the user and the service that runs on the server have full access to the shared folder(and everything in it).
