Quickbooks problems

I'm at my wits end here. We never should have upgraded from Quickbooks Enterprise 2012. We skipped 2013 and went to 2014 and recently upgraded to 2015 hoping these issues would be fixed. However, according to Enterprise support, "We're not aware of anyone else having these issues." Pretty standard response from tech support staff, but it doesn't help us any. They've never asked to see any logs and offer advice that hasn't helped at all. Not only has it not helped, it's been expensive at times. According to support, for instance, Quickbooks(2014 and higher) requires 1GB of RAM on the server per user logged on. As outlandish as that sounded, the owner authorized bumping the server(virtual) to 32GB of RAM, which required bumping the host from 48GB to 96GB. This did absolutely nothing.
